Statement Clothing - Mom and pop Killer

A lot of people have been asking us. what is the meaning behind the mom and pop killer design? What is the significance of the camera on the head of the figure? etc... to make it more clear here is an explanation of the design.

The “Mom and Pop Killer” design comes from a song by hip hop recording artist The Grouch called “ Mom and Pop Killer”. It represents how corporations specifically Walmart are putting mom and pop shops( independently owned business) out of business. By law it is called monopolizing, but some how Walmart keeps on getting away with it. The surveillance camera as the head of this figure represents how the mom and pop killers have an eye on everything, they literally find the prices of the local stores and make their prices lower, leaving the consumer basically no choice because of the struggling economy.

The man behind the design is Máté Dani, a young and extremely talented guy from Jamaica.

Our new Mom and Pop Killer shirt is now available for purchase online. We are working on retail locations to help us distribute our clothing.
